  • When someone eats too much and greedily

  • To be pregnant.

I don’t think I can jog anymore because I have a bun in the oven.

Piece of cake

  • Something that is easy and simple.

The exam was a piece of cake.

Bring home the bacon

  • Earn the income

I am the only person in my family who brings home the bacon.

  • Do not get upset over something that cannot be changed

You missed your train. Don’t cry over spilled milk.

  • Something you don’t particularly like
